Uppercase toggle

Some electronic health records require certain fields to be in uppercase. The editor includes a button that transforms the text to uppercase without retyping anything.

How to use it

Section titled “How to use it”
  1. In the editor toolbar, find the uppercase button.
  2. Turn it on to view the note in uppercase.
  3. Turn it off to return to the original casing.

The change is presentational: you can toggle as many times as you need before copying.

Why it matters

Uppercasing text by hand is tedious and error-prone. The button satisfies the EHR’s formatting requirement in one click, without altering the clinical content.
