Create your first note

Your first note is the fastest way to see what Dok does. You record the visit or type what happened, and Dok returns a structured clinical note in seconds.

The chat panel captures the visit. When it stops, Dok generates a three-section note that streams in section by section.

How to create it

  1. Open Dok and click the new note button.
  2. Pick the note type before you start. The type is locked when the note is created and can’t be changed afterwards.
  3. Record the visit or type a free-text account of what happened.
  4. When you stop, Dok generates the structured note with its sections.

What you get

  • A note with clinical sections ready to review.
  • Editable text: any section can be adjusted by hand.
  • Per-section copy buttons so you can paste into your EHR.

When you save the note, Dok links it to the patient automatically. It shows up both in the Notes list and in the patient’s screen.
