When a patient appears in the list

The Patients tab isn’t a separate registry. A patient shows up there as a result of the clinical work you’ve already done with them in Dok.

A new note for M. Reyes causes that patient to appear in the Patients list.

When you create a note tied to a patient, that patient becomes available in the Patients list. From there you open them, see their grouped history and consult it on future visits.

You don’t need to register patients up front: you write the note and the patient is recorded as a consequence.

It removes the double step of “first register the patient, then write”. Your patient list reflects who you’ve actually seen, not who you plan to see.
