Finalize a note
Finalizing a note marks it closed and archives it. It doesn’t delete it. If you need to edit it again, you reopen it.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”Once finalized, the note drops out of the active list and stays stored under the patient. Reopening it brings it back to an editable state, keeping all of its content and history.
Why it matters
Section titled “Why it matters”It’s a reversible state. You can close out visits to clean up your day’s view without fear of losing information: if something new comes up, the note is still there, ready to pick back up.
